This great car has been powered by powerful twin turbocharged Chevrolet LS-series aluminum V8 that will be able to give the car 1,200hp and the 1,135lb-ft torque fitted to a 6-speed Ricardo manual transaxle. This car is boasting a dry weight of just 2,548lbs and also a curb weight of the 2,681lbs long with a full tank of fuel, this car brings an incredible power-to-weight ratio.
In spite of the brilliant news, the company is still looking forward to the upcoming variation of the Venom GT – the great Hennessey Venom GT2. In addition, this car will contain a new door design along with the dihedral hinges and the increased headroom together with a double bubble roof. The engine will be enhanced to a 7.0 liter twin turbo V8 to produce over 1,500hp on E85 pump fuel. A new 7-speed paddle shift transmission or the 6-speed Ricardo manual transaxle will be accessible.
The GT2 will also receive a carbon fiber body that is wind tunnel tested. Meanwhile, the other improvements will contain the new side mirrors and roof and the front air dams.
